Hello! I am thrilled that you’ve taken interest in learning more about my work at home career consulting services (available by telephone, Skype IM or in person for local clients). Below I’ve provided some FAQ’s about me and my services, but first I’d like to share a little bit about how I ended up where I am and doing what I do.
How did you get to be a work at home professional?
When my twins were five-years-old, I took a scary leap into single motherhood. I found myself working as a bartender on weekends just so my kids wouldn’t be away from mom more than a couple of hours a week while they were awake. I didn’t have a clue what I wanted to do with my life, but I knew my life evolved around my children and I was willing to do whatever it took to keep their mom home and the one raising them. I was much too proud to beg for the help of my parents, so whatever I did, it had to be good and it had to be profitable.
As it turned out, it was the smartest career move I ever made. Albeit the scariest - but smart nonetheless. In the strangest twist of fate, the very reason I found myself divorced became the focus of my first online job. Having been married to a man who didn’t see monogamy as a key element in successful marriage, I found myself stepping out as a vocal advocate for those who had experienced the infidelity of a partner and were faced with the earth-shattering fear of STD testing.
Through my own testing, I discovered testing wasn’t actually as complete as patients believed – as a result of my own frustration, I challenged the government to change standardized testing and guidelines that would end the deceptions and lies.
Once I felt my advocacy had run it’s course and I’d done all I could do, my online career evolved into a completely different arena. Blogging!
I began blogging in 2005 after being contracted to write articles. Later that would evolve into my accepting a position with a major blog network, b5media. That single position would grow into three blogs and before I knew it, I was balancing as many as thirteen blogs at a time.
While I still maintain my status as blogger, I would later accept the position of channel editor. In November 2007 I found myself managing as many as 80 bloggers and writing 5 blogs - all while keeping the most important job first - Mom!
Over the course of 11 years, I have tried several work at home opportunities, affiliate programs, design techniques and services. Through my own experience, I’ve gained an incredible amount of knowledge that I am now offering to those exploring work at home options – whether seeking full time income or to help supplement their existing income.
With creativity, soul searching and a great deal of praying, my vision of advocacy of a different kind began to take on a new form still. I began to develop a plan around my own skills within the online earning arena, my desire to work from home, and my interest in helping other parents find better ways to balance work and family. I even brought in a couple of relatives to practice my skills on to make sure I was capable of what I envisioned.
I will be working through various approaches from coaching, consulting and workshops. Through the workshops I hope to learn as much from clients as they do from me. After all, it’s been nearly eleven-years since I first embarked on my own work at home journey.
In addition to providing career consulting to individuals, I participate in online message boards as a volunteer online work at home expert. I have been interviewed by dozens of media outlets at different times during my online career – including Fitness Magazine, Marie Claire and local news stations, not to mention the dozens of online websites where you can find personal interviews I have participated in.
For a single mom of pre-school twins who didn’t have a clue what she wanted to do other than be the best mom, it’s been an absolute amazing journey.
I work with amazing people, my hours are flexible and that works wonderfully – especially for a mom to two very busy teenagers who are looking forward to driving within the next six months. I have been very blessed to be able to be in the position to help so many people, both young and old, male and female, parent or not, develop their own best work at home base, all while being at home for my kids whenever they needed me.

Who are your clients?
My clients are committed individuals and big dreamers who are serious about changing their life. Currently, my clientele is split between women who are looking to find legitimate work from home opportunities or who are considering starting their own business and people who are currently working but are looking for additional ways to contribute to the household finances. I also work with individuals who need assistance with developing, marketing and growing their home-based businesses.
What do you mean by "committed" and "big dreamer"?
The vast majority of my clients are individuals who realize nothing comes without a price and most times that price is hard work, dedication and the ability to stand up, brush your knees off and get back to work when you’ve stumbled along the way.
There’s no such thing as "get rich quick" or "money for nothing" when it comes to working online. In fact, I can say that I put in more hours working at home than I ever did in an office, however, the key element here is, I’m flexible! I can work at 10 PM if my kids have a ball game or a doctors appointment earlier in the day. That in itself is worth it’s weight in gold.

What should I do next?
After you’ve had a chance to review my fee and services schedule, drop me an email so we can arrange the first step of your consultation that will include a questionnaire to be completed by you.
